UPGRADED delivers Smart Tickets with revolutionary fraud security, frictionless mobile transfers, and the unique ability to generate new revenue and communication opportunities.

UPGRADED tickets are easily accessed via the mobile web and can be embedded into partner sites or mobile apps

Sponsors can pay for valuable real estate on the ticket that links to content and commerce. Event Owners can provide integrated opportunities for fans to purchase merchandise, parking or other items directly from ticket.

With obfuscation of the bar code until doors are open and ticket-holder is near the venue.

Fully functional with existing infrastructure that makes use of bar/QR codes. A simple and familiar process for spectators that beats the printed PDF any day.

With just the tap of a button and an email address, tickets can be transferred to friends and immediately accessible on their smartphone.

Event owners can specify transfer, resale, revenue shares and other parameters and promotions down to the individual ticket level. Service fees and resale permissions are in your control.

Smart Tickets integrate into existing workflows and create untold new opportunities, including new models for dealing with hold-backs, group ticket, season ticket holders, last minute sales / upgrades, and controlled secondary markets.

Blockchain underpinning allows event owners to know exactly who has claimed ownership over the life of the ticket, who ultimately was the fan who attended the event, and provides valuable opportunities to reach that fan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this another marketplace?

No, UPGRADED is a mobile-first platform that converts traditional tickets into interactive Smart Tickets, giving event owners unprecedented control and visibility of the market for their events and a direct communication vehicle with their spectators. UPGRADED restores convenience, security and trust in ticketing, allowing fans to focus on enjoying the show or game.

Do my attendees/fans have to download another app?

No, there is no requirement for attendees to download an app. UPGRADED Smart Tickets work universally across devices via the mobile web.

What if I have my own app/website that I want attendees to access tickets?

UPGRADED tickets can be easily embedded into partner mobile apps or mobile websites.

Do my attendees/fans have to create yet another account for ticketing?

No, attendees simply purchase a ticket, receive it via their Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail and log into their email account to access the ticket.

How are my attendees/fans able to transfer tickets to their friends?

When one attendee buys multiple tickets, they can transfer to their friends by simply tapping a button, entering their friends email address, and voila, the ticket disappears from the buyers account and can be accessed by friends via their associated email.

Sounds great, but will these Smart Tickets really work?

Yes, we know they work. UPGRADED tickets have been tested at venues across the country, including a number of professional & college sports events.

What if I don’t want to allow resale for my event?

The UPGRADED platform allows an event owner to place restrictions on resale. This includes preventing resale completely for all tickets, a subset of tickets, placing price caps on the resale value.

How does resale happen?

Resale can happen via an event owners own self-contained marketplace, or event owners can choose to allow tickets to be sold on all the secondary markets. Because of an UPGRADED Smart Tickets blockchain underpinning, an event owner can know exactly where their tickets are being sold.

How can I stop scalpers/brokers from profiting off of my tickets?

If an event owner wants to allow resale, aside from the ability to place price caps on ticket resale, UPGRADED Smart Tickets can prevent resale unless the seller is willing to pass back a portion of their profits on the resale to the event owner.

What about fraudulent tickets?

UPGRADED Smart Tickets are backed by the blockchain, meaning ownership is clearly defined. As an additional layer of security, bar codes and QR codes are hidden from the face of the Smart Ticket until the doors are open at the venue and the holder is near the venue.
